MacroTracker is built and maintained by one developer, so replies usually come within a couple of days. Telling us your username and which device you are on saves a round trip.
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot your password?, enter your email, and we will send you a code. Enter that code along with a new password and you are back in.
If your account was created with just a username and no email address, there is no way to send you a code. Sign in and go to Profile → Add your email to attach one, so this works next time.
Check your spam folder first. Codes expire after fifteen minutes, so if it has been sitting a while, request a new one. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, email us and we will look into it.
AI scanning is limited per day to keep the app free to run. It resets at midnight UTC. You can always add a food by hand, by barcode, or from your library in the meantime — nothing else is limited.
AI estimates are a starting point, not a measurement — particularly when judging a portion size from a photograph. Every value is editable before you save it, and correcting one takes a couple of taps. For anything you eat often, saving it to your library once is more accurate than rescanning.
Search covers your own library, the community library, and the USDA database. Branded and restaurant items have thinner coverage than whole foods. If something is missing, add it once with + New and it stays in your library.
Profile → Delete account. This removes your meals, foods, weight history, grocery lists you own, saved photos and targets, permanently and immediately. There is no undo and no backup we can restore from, so export anything you want to keep first.
Yes. One account covers both; anything you log in one shows up in the other.
Email us with what you were doing when it happened, your username, and your device and app version — you will find the version at the bottom of the Profile tab. A screenshot helps enormously.
